Dr. Becker also found a “connection between low silver levels and sickness. He said that silver deficiency was responsible for the improper functioning of the immune system.”

Most notably, Dr. Henry Crooks in his publication, "Use of Colloids in Health and Disease," found that colloidal silver was very effective in healing the colon. He states, "silver in the colloidal state is highly germicidal, quite harmless to humans and absolutely non-toxic. Rather than in a chemical compound, the silver in the colloidal state may be applied in a much more concentrated form, with correspondingly better results. All virus, fungus, bacterium, streptococcus, staphylococcus, and other pathogenic organisms are killed in three or four minutes upon contact. Is Colloidal Silver an all-natural antibiotic ?

No, technically it cannot be labeled as an all-natural antibiotic. However, research by doctors clearly show colloidal silver's usefulness as an anti-infective. I believe more research is necessary to determine its full potential. I hope one day that it will be recognized and marketed for its all-natural antibiotic properties. For now it is considered to be a mineral and it is generally forgotten about because it is not a money maker as opposed to prescriptions drugs that generate a lot of revenue.

Is Colloidal Silver Safe? YES! Currently, Colloidal Silver is used by hospitals 1.) topically for severe burn patients and a form of silver (silver nitrate) is used 2.) in newborns eyes to prevent blindness. In 1993, the medical profession and the FDA tried to make colloidal silver a prescription drug. It is a trace mineral and therefore is not catagorized as a drug, so it falls into the vitamin and mineral catagory.

The best Colloidal Silver, with all-natural antibiotic properties, should provide at least .001 microns and 10 ppm (parts per million) or more of Colloidal Silver particles suspended in water, which is needful because the smaller size silver particles the easier it is for your body utilize. Another alternative is to make it yourself.
